ഹാക്കര് ഗ്രൂപ്പായ ‘ഗോസ്റ്റ് ഷെല്’ എഫ്.ബി.ഐ, നാസ, ഇന്റര്പോള് എന്നിവ അടക്കമുള്ള അമേരികന് ഏജന്സികളുടെ 16 ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം വരുന്ന ലോഗിന് വിവരങ്ങള് ചോര്ത്തിയതായി സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. കഴിഞ്ഞ നവംബര് 15നു ഒരു ട്വീടിലൂടെ തങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത നീക്കത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഗോസ്റ്റ് ഷെല് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു.
ഓണ്ലൈന് ആക്രമണത്തിന് ശേഷം ഗോസ്റ്റ് ഷെല് ഒരു വെബ് സൈറ്റില് ഇങ്ങനെ എഴുതി:
